Flight

Monday night, after spending a full day enjoying my family being in Jamaica with me I did what became something customary to do every time I reach home......check my bank balance.
To my surprise I had enough money to buy my ticket for Montana! After praying and feeling the go ahead from God I made all the arrangements to buy the ticket. And Tuesday was the day I have been expecting for months. The day I finally bought my ticket. It was a day filled with joy, thanksgiving and awe of who our God is.
Even though I do not know where all the money for the school is coming from yet, I know I am a step closer to actually doing the School Of Dance Studies.

Thank you all for your support. May the Lord bless you this holiday.

Off after a busy week

I just can't believe how fast this week has gone by. But I'm realizing more and more that when you have a full schedule time will fly by without you even knowing it.

There was a lot happening this week here at the base. Homes of Hope build 2 houses, the Arts camp was going on, a lot of people coming to visit, outreach to the people building our roads and we had our annual love feast. This means that most of our rooms were booked and had to be cleaned, the kitchen worked from 2 AM till 7 PM, the Homes of Hope crew were building all week while there was an arts camp going on.

After it all I am just exhausted. Luckily it is our week off! And as I am writing there is less than 5 hours left before my mom, brother, aunt and cousin arrive to visit me. So this week I will try to rest as much as possible, but also try to take in as much as Jamaica as I can. Because my time here is coming to an end for this season. And of course I still have some things to arrange for SODS. Including buying my ticket (which I'm still waiting for God's provision for).

Please keep me in your prayers this week and happy holidays!

This week

A little update about this week.

- I learned about depending on God's strength instead of my own
- Was tiring, yet I learned a lot about how much I can push myself
- We had the chance to meet almost all the parents of the New Waves students
- We experienced God's provision for the upcoming camp
- I received back my passport with the US visa in it
- I learned about my strengths and weaknesses
- The New Waves students performed a dance and song in a youth group.
- One of my friends left Jamaica

In one sentence: This week was challenging yet such a blessing!
Hope you had a blessed week too.

Praise report!

As I wrote on my previous post, I went in for my US student visa on Monday and it was a success!
That just brings me one step closer to my goal. Praise the Lord.

Also today was our annual Pastors' prayer breakfast here at YWAM Mobay and it was a success. The pastors prayer breakfast is something we organize to bring awareness to the local churches here on what we're doing. But also to encourage them to join with us on the mission field. Either by prayer, financial support or sending teams or individuals to help out.
During the prayer breakfast I also met a girl from Argentina who is currently working on Logos Hope and I was able to speak some Spanish which was really exciting!
